Sorry to bunch them up Troy just makes it easier
FAQ's
1. When firing at enemy in a building with most infantry weapons it is seemingly impossible for the enemy to sustain a CP. Not even a suppression is possible.
2. Is it necessary to have ordinance use a To-Hit # when firing at a building? Should there be a size modifier?
3. In the To-Kill modifier table there is a +/- 1 modifier for exposed/cover. Is this applicable for both infantry and ordinance?
4. In your example of ordinance vs infantry exchange the crop field modifier is + 1 where as the terrain chart it is + 1 per inch. As the target Pz IV is 4" into the field shouldn't the modifier be +4?

Thanks for the questions Marcus,
Q1. When firing at enemy in a building with most infantry weapons it is seemingly impossible for the enemy to sustain a CP. Not even a suppression is possible.
A.1 That is true but for a reason. Village and city terrain was, and is, tough to dig defending infantry out of. In order to suppress or kill them, you must use heavy Infantry weapons such as MMG or HMG directed by a capable PHQ (-1 or -2) or mortars. Rifles are not going to do it and neither will SMGs - unless at close range.
Squad LMGs will be able to suppress in village terrain at less than 4 inch range (200m) on a d6 roll of 1 but would require a PHQ of -1 or better to suppresss in City terrain.
Another option is smoke.
Q2. Is it necessary to have ordinance use a To-Hit # when firing at a building? Should there be a size modifier?
A.2 Ordnance is not targeting the building per se, instead they are targeting the Infantry. The 'building' is simply a representation of multiple buildings so is not the target.
Q3. In the To-Kill modifier table there is a +/- 1 modifier for exposed/cover. Is this applicable for both infantry and ordinance?
A.3 Yes all Infantry teams (including gun crews). Vehicles are not subject to Exposed/In cover modifiers.
4. In your example of ordinance vs infantry exchange the crop field modifier is + 1 where as the terrain chart it is + 1 per inch. As the target Pz IV is 4" into the field shouldn't the modifier be +4?
A4. Sorry, not sure of the combat example you are reffering to. There are now Tall crops (+1/inch) and Low crops (+1)...so that may be the issue.
